Our Beginners Course is for you if you want to take up exercise but are worried about starting out. Maybe you’re worried about being the only newbie or that you won’t know the exercises?  Maybe you think you’re not fit enough to join our classes or just don’t know where to start?

We understand that taking that deep breath in and going for it is tricky, so, starting this September, we are running a 3-week Beginners’ Course – everyone in the same boat, starting out together in a no pressure environment. You start at your own pace and we’ll help you build up from there.

The 3-session course consists of 2 x Barre classes and 1 x Low Impact Strength class. You will build strength, improve cardio fitness, achieve better posture, mobility and endurance. You will learn good form to begin exercising safely, with a reduced risk of injury. All in a friendly, thriving community!

      Enthusiastic, friendly, welcoming and very competent. That’s how I’d describe the Connect Fitness team, whom I’ve known for several years as instructors. I normally attend cardio and strength-based classes and always come out of each feeling that I’ve worked hard and achieved something. The classes are never the same, with exercises targeting a range of muscle groups and designed to get you out of your comfort zone. The instructors always ask if there are any injuries they need to be aware of, and offer options on exercises accordingly. This is not something that happens at many places and attests to the competence and professionalism of the instructors.

      I love Connect Fitness Studio classes because every class is different, and I notice progress each time I go. The five instructors all bring something different to the table; keeping the classes varied, fun and encouraging in a format that suits every level. What I also love is their personal approach to all clients, being mindful of pre-existing injuries and niggles, always with an alternative move up their sleeve. The Connect Fitness classes feel more like PT sessions with friends, and it has become something that I look forward to every week.
